As the nation’s oldest family-owned cookie/cracker manufacturer, Richmond Baking Co. decided to opt for a tranquil approach when building its newest location for More Than A Bakery. From the entrance that is split into “Creators” and “Fans,” all the way to the Kentucky distillery-like appearance, everything about this project was purpose-built to create an experience for everyone involved.

Located on more than 100 acres, the facility manufactures products including cookies, crackers, crumbs, and inclusions for customers ranging from Fortune 100 companies to smaller, regional businesses. To preserve the reputation and history of Richmond Baking the office design features a “millery” theme. The design honors the older-style flour mills, which produced one of the company’s key ingredients.
