Confidential Active Material Processor
For its newest production facility, a Japanese chemicals manufacturer selected Gray to design and build an active materials manufacturing plant in Waggaman, LA, to produce dimethyl carbonate (DMC) and ethyl methyl carbonate (EMC), organic compounds used as co-solvents for electrolyte in lithium-ion battery manufacturing.
Gray provided architecture, construction, equipment procurement, and MEP engineering for the modular, open-air chemical processing facility.
