This project included five major buildings interconnected by an elevated conveyor trestle. Gray’s role was that of a design-build integration manager tasked with organizing, coordinating, and facilitating the total design-build team’s interaction and alignment to lean construction methodology and the design-build approach.
This was the first design-build project for GM Global and the first project in which the company integrated Triforma 3D and BIM. In addition to leading the design process, Gray also was essential in helping GM pursue and achieve LEED Gold certification for this project.
