At Gray Construction, our No. 1 core value is: We put safety and quality of life first. We are thrilled to partner with the Kentucky Labor Cabinet on safety for our Champion Petfoods kitchen project in Auburn, Ky., to further execute this value.
On September 5, 2014, Champion Petfoods, the Kentucky Labor Cabinet and Gray gathered at Gray Construction’s headquarters to sign the formal agreement. The Construction Partnership Program consists of a formal site-based agreement that allows the Labor Cabinet to conduct numerous jobsite audits during the construction of a world-class, 350,000 s.f. pet food kitchen in Auburn scheduled to open in 2016.
The partnership seeks to identify and prevent safety hazards during the construction process and to prepare a safe workplace for Champion Petfoods’ Kentucky Kitchen.
