Christian Camp joined Gray Construction as Vice President of Human Resources in October 2024, bringing over 15 years of expertise in building high-performing teams and cultures across diverse industries. Based in Lexington, KY, Christian oversees all aspects of human resources strategy and operations for Gray Construction, focusing on aligning talent initiatives with the company’s vision and values.

Before joining Gray, Christian served as the Vice President of Awesome People at TS Family Restaurant Group, where he transformed HR into a strategic driver of business success. Under his leadership, the organization earned recognition for being one of the Top Workplaces in Michigan six years in a row and Top Workplaces in the U.S. three years in a row. Christian’s innovative programs increased team member retention, revamped recruiting processes, and introduced groundbreaking benefits, such as free tuition for team members and their families. 

Previously, Christian held senior HR roles at Michaels Stores, EMSI, and Safety-Kleen Systems, driving organizational growth, reducing turnover, and fostering strong team engagement. Across his career, he has successfully led HR teams through major acquisitions, corporate transformations, and cultural evolutions, always prioritizing the well-being and growth of team members. 

Christian holds a master’s degree in organizational development and a bachelor’s degree in human resources management from Concordia University in Portland, OR. A certified senior professional in Human Resources (SPHR), he is passionate about empowering leaders and cultivating a workplace culture where every team member can thrive. 

Outside of work, Christian enjoys visiting amusement parks with his family and is an avid fan of fishing, real estate, and cars.
