Safety Luncheon held at the Clare Rose Inc. Jobsite

The Clare Rose Inc. project hosted a safety luncheon on Wednesday, May 26, 2010 at its Yaphank, N.Y. jobsite. Clare Rose Management team members, Gray team members and subcontractors were in attendance. Gray Construction hosts a safety luncheon on each jobsite to show appreciation to the many subcontractors who help put safety and quality of life first. Safety is a top priority at Gray. In fact, it’s our No. 1 Core Value.
The safety luncheon celebrated the completion of 130,831 hours without any recordable incidents or lost time incidents. To date, approximately 1,345 tons of steel has been placed, 14,000 cubic yards of concrete poured, 125,000 bricks placed and 200,000 cubic yards of earth moved.
The Clare Rose Inc. project is a 270,000 s.f. beer distribution facility. GNF Architects and Engineers is providing Architecture and Engineering Design. Gray Construction is providing Construction Management and LEED management application for this project. When complete, this project will apply for LEED certification.
