Gray’s first-place finish in Engineering News-Record’s Top Contractor rankings illustrates the company’s depth of experience and focus on serving food & beverage processors.
Engineering News-Record recently recognized Gray as the top firm for the food & beverage industry!
The honor in ENR’s Top Contractors Sourcebook was emblematic of Gray’s focused approach to delivering fully integrated engineering, design, construction, digital, and equipment manufacturing services to its global base of customers.
In Good Company
Key food & beverage projects for Gray in 2022 include a state-of-the-art beef processing facility for American Foods Group and a cutting-edge turkey processing operation for Prestage Farms, among many others.
Project milestones such as the groundbreaking ceremony for Häns Kissle’s new fresh foods facility and the grand opening of Clemens Food Group’s new meat processing plant demonstrated Gray’s industry leadership at every project stage.
Gray also continued to build upon its extensive experience with pet food processors, with active projects for industry-leading customers Purina, Instinct, and Hill’s Pet Nutrition.
Experience Adds Up
ENR’s yearly rankings are determined by project revenue in each category. This year’s top ranking came after Gray posted more than $1 billion in revenue from food & beverage projects.
Gray is no stranger to food & beverage processors. Over the past 25 years, Gray has completed more than 120 construction projects for its food & beverage customers.
“We want to see our customers succeed,” says Cundiff. “In addition to our legacy design and construction services, we have built a unique portfolio of services and products specializing in process & packaging engineering, advanced automation, digital transformation, and custom sanitary process equipment, which provides the flexibility and transparency our customers need for complex initiatives. When we provide solutions that can improve their production efficiency, capacity, and quality, it builds trust and a true sense of partnership.”
