Gray President & CEO Appears as Guest Speaker on ENR’s Top 400 Contractors Unveiled Webinar
Engineering News-Record (ENR), the leading construction magazine, held its annual webinar unveiling industry trends related to the top 400 contractors for 2017. Stephen Gray, the president and CEO of nationally-ranked engineering, architecture and construction firm Gray Construction, spoke on the broadcast about the current trends the company is seeing.
“The manufacturing, automotive, food and beverage, distribution, retail and hospitality markets continue to be strong for Gray Construction,” explained Stephen Gray. “We expect stability and modest growth to continue through the remainder of 2017 and beyond.”
Larry Casey, executive vice president and chief strategy and markets officer for Skanska USA Building Inc., also spoke during the webcast and indicated that Skanska is witnessing similar trends. Gary Tulacz, senior editor at ENR, moderated the event and pointed out that, despite some concern and uncertainty related to workforce shortages and the current political environment, the construction industry is healthy.
