Gray and Maruchan Celebrate Groundbreaking for New Facility

Maruchan has been in business for more than 70 years and today they produce and distribute more than three billion packages of Ramen soup each year.

The company selected Gray to design and build a 227,000 s.f. expansion to the company’s existing facility in Irvine, California to increase production and meet customer demand.

“This new project is a shining example of sustained relationships and repeat customer success,” says Brett Goode, executive vice president, food & beverage. “For more than six years, the Gray and Maruchan teams have partnered to build multiple world-class facilities. This new project is the latest example of what can be accomplished when two teams come together as one.”

The facility will eventually house three new production lines and is expected to create nearly 200 new jobs. The project is anticipated to be complete in the fall of 2025.
